Interesting post, Dan. Following the main blast, so many interesting events like this never made the six o'clock news ... Do you remember the snorkels the Wash State Patrol mounted on their vehicles?
I remember seeing one. I was living in Coulee City at the time. Life for me was pretty slow in the few weeks after the blast. I didn't get out too much.
