  2. I have posted in my blog some family photos of FDR's visit to Grand Coulee on Aug. 4 - the post contains 3 pics of the "big shot" of July 28; followed by 4 pics of FDR. http://cousinsam.blogspot.com/2012/12/big-shot-fdr.html

  4. Is Roosevelt sitting in the back seat with the dark brown hat? Must have been something to see him come through town.

  5. Hello - Am a longtime Roosevelt collector/historian (and one-time FDR impersonator at Grand Coulee Dam, Timberline Lodge, Oregon State Capitol in 1983, 1987 and 1988 respectively). Now, I am tracing FDR's long tour of the Pacific Northwest for a book. Visited Ephrata last September to research the local paper's coverage of his 1937 visit. If any of you have or know of any other photos or stories from his 1937 tour, please contact me. Thank you.

  6. SW,
Certainly you've contacted the Bureau of Reclamation about this. I have no information, other than what is posted here on this site. I would have encouraged you to check the local paper, as well as the Wenatchee World or the Spokesman-Review. The last one can be searched via the Google News Archive. https://news.google.com/newspapers
