1948 East Low Canal Crab Creek Siphon

Another example of poorly labelled photos in the collection of the institution listed in the watermark. They say a canal is being constructed near Soap Lake in 1948.
These show the East Low Canal being constructed just south of the bifurcation from the main canal about a mile north of this location near Adco. It shows the Crab Creek Siphon being constructed underneath the Great Northern mainline just east of Adrian. Also shown is how they diverted Crab Creek and put the siphon below the creek. This is still the case today.
