This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

Bus Vs Train At Hanford
Here is what appears to be a bus and train accident, November 1944. Not known is if this is a test or an actual accident.
The bus was apparently on the flatcar; note the wired blocks still attached to the underside. Emergency personnel can been seen in the distance and the tender is askew, so definitely an accident.
