Whoa, was the highway built on the old grade? I don't think I ever noticed it before!
ReplyDeleteNo. The railway is curving away in the photo. They are very close in places.
ReplyDeleteI believe that was the route that was never finished, correct?
ReplyDeleteCorrect. I do have a profile showing the grade completed 10 miles beyond Coulee City, but no rail ever laid.
