This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!
Shoutout to Kirtus Dolorina for stopping by to borrow other people's work!
Although i still am an avid rail fan, meaning that any train is better than no train, the trains of my youth with F units and boxcars, tank cars, flat cars with machinery on top, gondolas that you could see what they were hauling etc etc, were far more interesting than 120 double stack containers behind pumpkin orange GE's. But, I'll take what I can get.
The last of the 1st generation of diesels, sad day.
ReplyDeleteAnd now the CBRW seems to be falling.

ReplyDeleteAgreed. Seeing the CBRW with it's vintage power has been nice, while it lasts.
