CBRW Deadline At Warden

Left to right, 610, 608, 166, 1626, 2274. Yakima has a similar deadline.
It's a sad day to watch the new replace the old and the familiar. Like the replacement of F units that I watched, I can relate even more to my dad watching the passing of steam. I remember driving along the NP yard in Seattle early 60's and seeing the endless deadline of steam locomotives waiting to be cut up. It's part of "progress" right"?

ReplyDeleteI remember the last of the F units and hating the SD40-2s. No need to get worked up over change now. I'm glad the railroad is running!
