Mansfield Branch Extension?
Composite maps from 1918 and 1920 showing an extension of the Mansfield branch to a point near Rex. I can't confirm if it was officially surveyed.

I've read the same thing. There was a book in the Wenatchee Valley College library on the Mansfield branch (concerning economic development in Mansfield), and I remember it had some history of the branch in it. That may be where I read about a possible extention.
