From the Jerry Quinn Collection, SP&S Business Car "The Ruth M" in Moses Lake, WA in June of 1971.
This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!
Part of Monte's collection? Is that a young Dan on the steps?
ReplyDeleteYes, and no.
ReplyDeleteAaah, ok! Any idea where and if this car still exists? Hopefully?
ReplyDeleteCloser to you than me now. It's in Chehalis.
ReplyDeleteOh really? I've probably seen it AND been in it, lol! Wife and I were looking for a wedding venue in 2017 and took a tour of the whole train, but it was out of our budget. We got to see the train, how'd they set it up, and even got a peek in the shops and all the grounds.
ReplyDeleteNever booked it, but was a great 2 hours checking it all out!
