This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

What is the brick structure just above the lead locomotive? Is that the building that is still there? Also, what are the curved tracks coming from top right. Part of a wye? John, Ephrata

Wow!!
GP40's lookin' dirty, but good!
Those hoppers on the left, what were they used for?
The brick is the base of the old oil tank there. And yes, there was a wye.
Wish it was all still around.
Wish it was ALL still around!
