I wonder if it was a regular. FA's seem to have been pretty common out of Spokane.
I was wondering about the FA as well. I didn't know GN used those here in the NW. SP&S had a bunch.. I never liked them as much as a EMD.
Lots of period GN photos show a larger than you'd expect proportion of Alco power hanging around.
