This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!
Shoutout to Kirtus Dolorina for stopping by to borrow other people's work!

Goodbye CBRW 302
February 27, 2026
Jaguar sold off this one and the 1626, both former NP GP9s. The 302 left Pasco for points east. I caught it at a few places along the way.
Sad to see them go, they've been in the Northwest since 1990. Used to see them on the Spirit of Washington dinner train in Renton for awhile, before they switched to the F-units.
