This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!
Shoutout to Kirtus Dolorina for stopping by to borrow other people's work!

I saw this in a slide show of his a few weeks ago and he was kind enough to share it with me.

Location is between Stratford and Wilson Creek, as shot from SR 28.

All 20 cylinder EMD's, that's 10,800 HP right there, no problem moving freight!
"Freight Goes Great, when you use Great Northern!"
I did read that GN SD45s were the lightest built, at just under 400,000lbs.
