This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!
Shoutout to Kirtus Dolorina for stopping by to borrow other people's work!
A few months ago I was in the Royal City one. It also sports a deep sea scuba site. Look it up. Some of the Atlas missile sites have been converted to homes.
Speaking of pre I-90, do you know if the Milwaukee track alignment east of Ellensburg, was the same as it is now prior to I-90? Like the bridge crossing I-90?

That's a good basic map, pre-I 90 too. Wonder what the "Complex Areas" are?
Titan Complex Area. The area around each site.
SP, they still there, or abandoned after the Cold War ended? I've heard of people turning them into homes and living spaces!

Whoa!
You can drive into it! Pretty cool!

It is the same alignment. The bridge predated I-90 by some decades.
