This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by! Shoutout to Kirtus Dolorina for stopping by to borrow other people's work!

2008 EWG Views At Davenport and Ritzville.
Way back then I was a new Frito Lay driver covering a route out of Ritzville. It also served the Davenport area. I was aware of the EWG at the time, so I packed a camera. I was not disappointed as I snapped these pics between March 25 and 28, 2008. You'll have to trust me in that the two locomotives obscured by snow at the Ritzville unit train loader are the NIWX 8925 and MRL 260 that I had seen 3 days earlier at Davenport.
