This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

Yes, Crab Creek is an amazing creek. My favorite part of it was in the little valley along the Milwaukee Road just before it emptied into the Columbia at Beverly. I am still surprised at how long that creek is!

I enjoy your blog very much!
Thanks for the kind comments. Crab Creek is very fascinating to me as well. Parts of it are always wet and flowing, while others are seasonal.
