PCC Power In Coulee City

I never was able to catch many PCC movements on the line. I got lucky on January 28, 2003 and caught this 3 unit set there.

How difficult is it to catch any traffic in central/eastern Washington? I'm in Seattle and only get out that way on weekends. Do the smaller lines run only on weekdays? Or is it just sporadic?

I've been to Coulee City a bunch of times and have never seen anything. I honestly thought the line was abandoned.

Lately they've been having a unit train once a week, but they also run as needed. Its really hard to predict sometimes. You stand a better chance of catching something the closer you get to Cheney.

That said, the current operator of the line, the Eastern Washington Gateway, have friendly crews and can be asked if something is moving soon.
