This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

The locomotive never really operated well, as it needed quite a few item repaired, including a lot of low voltage wiring. It now sits at the Blackwell Northern in Kansas.

Such a cool SD with those Alco trucks!
I just couldn't get a way on the day they were giving it a spin. I would have loved to have seen it myself.
That would be cool to see running!
I think they got the low voltage wiring issues figured out. I believe it lives in Kansas now.
