Amazing how four men could take care of a Big section of railroad, that takes million dollar machines nowadays! Men were built different back then, that's for sure.
Now BNSF wants to have track inspectors by drone.
Ha, good luck with seeing every loose spike or tie plates! Impossible to see miles of trackage and pinpoint a bad piece of infrastructure.
