This is the branch that came off the GN/BN at Columbia River (now Albus) and went up Moses Coulee and wandered across the plateau to Mansfield.
The Great Northern seriously considered extending the line to Grand Coulee Dam to handle construction supplies before the dam was built.

Awesome! I have finally found information on this branch line! I go exploring up in Douglas Canyon quite often and wondered at who operated the abandoned railbed I utilize to get up in there. Thank you for posting this.
Awesome!! I have been searching for information on this line for quite some time. I go exploring and hunting up in Douglas Coulee all the time and wondered at the history of the rail bed that I use to get up in there. Thank you for posting this.
