This site features daily postings about historical information on the railroad lines of the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state.
The photo is from 1913, which is the same year the spur off the Milwaukee was completed. The line mainly existed to get fruit from the orchards at White Bluffs and Hanford up to Yakima, but they were mixed hauls in that they carried both passengers and fruit (and mail).
