Steamboats At Wenatchee

Courtesy of the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center.

October or November, 1898. Here the Columbia River Wenatchee Landing is shown with the Steamers "Selkirk", "Thomas L. Nixon" and "Camano" along a dock paralleling two long lines of Great Northern Railway boxcars. These boats landed 1,000 tons of wheat at this dock. They are shown here loaded with wheat in sacks.
