Google maps street view is WAY different today, maybe one of those old buildings in the pic are standing today?
I think the only time you see that many folks milling about town is during their annual Octoberfest!I think a few of these buildings have been resided or remodeled, making it harder to tell what is still standing.Dan
The two corner buildings on the left are still standing and look great today, according to Google street view. The far left one has a 1902 date on the front, so this view is later than that...
I drove through on Sunday with an eye for this photo, and I have to agree with you.Dan
