This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

Banks Lake Drawdown-2
With the lake being drawn down so much in late 2011, much of the railroad grade to Grand Coulee became visible. Here are the pictures starting near Coulee City:
These are a few miles outside of Coulee City. SR155 on the right.
Remaining ties were found outside of Steamboat Rock State Park.
View looking over the top of the Grand Coulee Airport.
