Photographer Haynes At Wilbur

Pictures were found on the Historic Eastern Washington Facebook page.

"Northern Pacific depot in Wilbur, WA circa 1880s. Notice the train car in the background for the Haynes Photography Studio, a traveling photographer that would travel city to city by connecting his personal car to the major lines.

[Depot photo: Washington State Historical Society]"

I add:

The line to Wilbur was completed in 1889. The track does look freshly laid. Non-treated oak ties. No tie plates.
