This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

Facelifting Seen As New Historical Era For Coulee City
This might be a little off topic, but I was wondering if you've ever come across any photos or information of the KFC/Phillips 66 that was built at Dry Falls near Coulee City. It was inside the coulee just south of the resort.
I've found two postcards online, but they're both aerial/far away shots.
Eric, I've got two postcards, one showing the KFC the other showing the 66. My knowledge of it is limited, though when I was growing up in Coulee City years ago, the KFC was a going concern. My dad managed the riding stable just down the street from the place, and I spent many hours there playing pinball and video games (and bagging ice).
