This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area. Thanks for stopping by!

Observations from Google Earth: The foundations of the railroad water tower are evident. The Post Office building on Elm is still standing and in use. All of the buildings on north side 3rd Street are still there but none still exist on the south side. Great Photo - how do you think it was taken so high up?

Almost certain there was an adjacent grain elevator the photographer was perched on.
