Difference of Decades Moses Lake Depot

The older photo was taken in 1976, the later photo in 2010. Note the buildings on the very right have not changed, except for paint, and that the siding in the old photo is now the only track. Beyond the grade crossing with Alder Street there is a jog in the tracks where the siding goes to the right and catches up with the main track. In the old photo there is a silver grain building in the background, which is still there, but in the later view is obscured by a tree. The depot sign is in a private collection in town.




The grassy area was a project by the town fathers to beautify the area:
