I've posted this before, but this is a much cleaner view of the GN bridge at Rock Island, before it was doubled in 1926.
Nice photo! You can sure see why Great Northern beefed it up!
I'd kinda like a closer look of the bridge members of this one, to see how light they still are.Dan
