This site features daily historical railroad posts from the Big Bend/Columbia Plateau region of Washington state. As a personal site, this is my online filing cabinet of interesting things I've come across about railroading in the area.
I know it's easy to grab an image from here and post it elsewhere, like Steve Renfrow does, but if you do, could you at least give this site a little credit?

Early Day Railroading In Okanogan County
Author unknown.
I've dipped into the Molson line here in the past. Here is another dip.
Great account of some seriously difficult construction in some very rugged country! I often walk or ride my bike on abandoned RR grades and I'm amazed at how difficult construction must have been given the tools/equipment of the era. I truly enjoyed this perspective! Just the fact that they had to walk to Oroville to even begin is pretty impressive.

I know this is outside the scope of the page, but where else would you find a document like this?

Very True! I love this type of perspective from the guy with boots on the ground!
