Norm Priebe says:
"This scene was taken just after electrics were discontinued, meaning the photo was taken some time in later 1956 until they were disbursed. The Y's went to the Pennsylvania and one W went to the Union pacific. The remainder were scrapped. It is not a GN publicity photo, several big time rail-fan photographers took this scene."
